I like to think of the creator as a woman
who gave birth to a universe that once rested silently in her womb
breast feeding creation from the fruits of her own being
looking on with love and adoration
as her children dance among the stars.
hmm...In this piece I was more trying to highlight the feminine aspects of the creator. I feel that the creator is perceived as being too masculine when in reality I believe it encompasses both male and female in union. As for Jesus, I think Jesus described the father son relationship to emphasize that we as humans were created in the image of god, as the son has the same characteristics and traits as his father. In other words I think he was trying to describe our divine union and relationship with the creator, so he used the father son analogy to get this message across.
